When reading Crash, our reading thought that Jerry Spinelli should write a sequel about Crash and his new best friend Penn Webb and about their new friendship.  We also thought that Scooter should get better.  We thought Jerry Spinelli wrote this book to teach us a lesson which was to not judge someone by their looks.  An example was when Crash first saw Webb.  He thought that he was a nerd.  In the end of the book Crash's best friend became Penn Webb.  In conclusion, these are just some of our reading group's thoughts while reading Crash.

I just finished Crash and it was an excellent book and it seems to be and alternative to Stargirl for boys. I feel it teaches the same lesson: Individuality.
