Dear Jerry Spinelli,
I have read your book, Eggs, and I loved it. The contrasting characters kept me reading on and never knowing what they would do next. I liked how the characters hated each other but still spent time together. My favorite scene was the one with the nightcrawlers. As I read, I could picture the worms in the mud field. I would have liked you to add a part where David and his mom were happy together or Primrose could meet her real father. I liked the ending, especially when Primrose and David go to the city. I have never noticed the need to drink after eating a malt ball until I read this book. How did you come up with the two main characters? Where they based on actual people? Why wasn’t the father more involved with David?

Sorry... I don't have lots of self-esteem...
Anyways, I'm re-reading Eggs. I can definitely relate to alot of Jerry Spinelli's characters, but I can really relate with Primrose, except that I love my mommy...
I can be grumpy, I always look for ways to make easy money, I love pretending, and I have a love/hate relationship with my friends. Can anyone else relate to any character in Eggs? Please reply!! I'm just slowly becoming a slave to my computer anyways...

Here I am again.
I'm freaking out because I loved Eggs and I need a new book in a couple of weeks to read for English. Anyone know any books like Eggs, Jerry Spinelli or not, that are good? Thanks.
